Mom needs help!

Thank you for visiting this site.
It was set up to support a fundraising campaign and to inform people about why help is urgently needed.

Fate or bad luck? The background to the current situation

Dear friends, I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart, feeling lost and in need of support during an incredibly difficult time. I have worked hard all my life and raised six beautiful children, mostly alone. However, in the last few years my health has deteriorated significantly. Severe back pain and joint problems, which worsened after my COVID-19 infection and vaccination, have left me unable to work. The fatigue and pain have become overwhelming. I have great difficulty maintaining balance even when walking short distances. My daughter lives with me and has her own challenges, including partial blindness and hearing problems. She is doing her best to support me, but it is hard for her. Our house is falling apart and our car is in dire need of repair, making it difficult to access basic needs and medical care. Every day feels like a struggle! If you feel called to help us in any way - whether it is resources, advice, or financial support - no matter how big or small, it would mean the world to us. Your kindness could bring hope back into our lives in this dark time.

I need help for...

About me

My name is Viola White.

I have been living in the USA since 2003 because this was legally established thanks to a divorce and my ex-husband. I am now 64 and the mother of 6 girls, 3 of whom live in Europe. After the divorce, I had to somehow keep myself and 3 girls and our home afloat, so I became self-employed. My job is on the right in the picture. Yes, I, a 160 cm tall woman, drove this truck across the USA for years.

For years I drove this truck 14 out of 24 hours a day without a holiday. For a while this business brought in good profits, but I had to keep investing them in the truck.

Another consequence of the hard job was that I had little time for my family at home. But we had a roof over our heads and something to eat. During this time, my partner, who was already retired for health reasons, raised the three girls.

I only saw my children in "good old Germany" via cell phone or when they had money for a ticket to see me or money for a ticket so that I could fly to Germany. Even to this day, I have seen my grandchildren in Germany very rarely, if at all.
